The Local 892 Peer to Peer Outreach Program is to help our laid off brothers and sisters of our union. The State of Michigan is going through trying times of unemployment, and foreclosures, which are at an all time high. We are here to help out fellow members get the resources, education, and job training that is available in your counties. As Peer to Peer members we will be giving you information about different programs that are available to laid off workers, such as free workshops and help paying for school. Our goal is to be there for you to give you and your family members the helpful resources that you could use during this period of layoff. In a short period of time the Peers will be calling the laid off workers in order to accomplish this goal. We can continue working together today in order to better your tomorrow!
