Cost-of-Living The Cost-of-Living Allowance for most eligible parent Company UAW hourly employees will increase $0.17, on September 3, 2001. The total cost-of-living received in your paycheck will be one dollar and forty cents ($1.40) per hour. |
3% General Wage Increase Effective September 17, 2001, each eligible employee covered by the 1999 UAW CollectiveBargaining
Agreement will receive a three percent (3%) general wage increase,
pursuant to The amount of such wage increase for each individual worker will be determined by the straight -time hourly wage rate of the employee's classification. |
UAW-Ford 60th Anniversary Commemorative History In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the first Collective Bargaining Agreement between the UAW and Ford Motor Company – June 20, 1941 – we have completed a commemorative history of our relationship. This 104-page document dramatically traces our roots and focuses on our future and will be distributed with this flyer. If you have not received one of these books, they will be available for you to pick up in the Union Office. |
Labor Day HolidayLabor Day this year is Monday September 3, 2001. Have a Safe and Enjoyable day off and remember to help us celebrate this day and represent our local in the Detroit Labor Day Parade. We will be gathering at our Local 892, 601 Woodland Drive, Saline at 7:00 AM and leaving by7:30 or meet us on the parade route, staging area information is on the back.
