| Friday, October 27th,
the Women’s Committee held their 4th annual Halloween party at the Local
Union hall. Close to 200 people attended and had a great time. After enjoying hot dogs,
chips, juice and cupcakes, the kids played musical chairs, bobbed for apples and swung at
piņata’s with their blindfolds on. As always there were some wonderful costumes.
Each family had their pictures taken and got to take their pictures home with them. Before
leaving, each child received a goody bag. Due to the scheduling of the hall, the Halloween party has been held on Friday evenings. Saturday October 20th, 2001 has been reserved for next years Halloween party. This will allow members on the afternoon and midnight shifts to attend the function. Make plans to attend. The Women’s Committee always welcomes new members. Our next event will be the Easter Egg Hunt on April 8th 2000, become a member of the Women’s Committee and join in the fun. |
