McDonald's Happy Toys Said Made By Children

Chinese children as young as 14 help make some of the toys that are available with kids' meals at McDonald's restaurants, the New York Times and the South China Morning Post report. One-fifth of the 2,000 workers at the City Toys, Ltd., factory in Shenzhen are younger than 16, the Morning Post said.
The factory, owned by Pleasure Tech Holdings Ltd. Of Hong Kong, makes Snoopy, Winnie the Pooh and Hello Kitty toys for McDonald's. McDonalds said it would investigate the charges for as long as it takes to get the facts, the Times said.
