Retirees Report
By Ken Papenhagen

It was great to see everyone at our last meeting and we hope those of you who missed will be able to join us at our next meeting. We voted not to have a July meeting this year. A survey was taken to find out what kind of trips everyone was interested in for next year. The top five places were; Las Vegas, Hawaii, New England, Maine, Nashville and Orlando shared the fifth place slot. These were some great ideas now we will wait and see what our travel team will come up with. We do know that a cruise to Hawaii is being planned for February, so plan on joining us.

We have a celebrity among us: congratulations to ruby Hipke and her daughter Sylvia, who were the winners of 'pistons lover our moms' mother's day essay contest. Ruby we all appreciate you too. Ruby is the sectary of our retiree group and we are proud of her.
Any of the retirees who would like to, can send us pictures or information about what you are up to. We hope you will join us at our meeting. Meetings are the second Monday of the month. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service. We start at 12 noon and meetings are at the union office.

A special thanks to everyone for working at the pancake breakfast. Rosemary and Lenard Devlin, we want to thank you for taking care of the arrangements for the breakfast.
Ken Welter, thank you for volunteering to help with pictures and news for our group. Everyone with news or pictures can contact Ken. He will make sure it is turned in.
July 2 we have a group leaving for Alaska. Hope they will all bring back pictures. Most of all have a good time.
